IT deals: Cognizant, IBM, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems

Cognizant, IBM, Lockheed Martin, BAE Systems, BasisCode Compliance, among others, announced their latest IT / technology deals.

Cognizant

Cognizant has won a IT deal from three Finland-based financial institutions — Savings Banks Group, Oma Savings Bank and POP Bank Group — to build and operate a shared core banking platform to enable their digital transformation plans. Cognizant will also acquire Samlink, the technology services provider.

Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin has won a $542 million contract for equipment and spares for F-35 aircraft, the Pentagon said in a statement on Tuesday.

BAE Systems

BAE Systems has won a $474 million U.S. defense contract for technical and maintenance support for the M109 family of vehicles, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.

IBM

BNP Paribas and IBM Services announced a eight-year contract. This agreement will enable BNP Paribas to continue to deploy its cloud approach with service from IBM.

BasisCode Compliance

Barge Consulting, which specializes in SEC consulting services, has deployed BasisCode Compliance’s software platform to improve and streamline compliance management for its investment management and advisor clients.

Oracle NetSuite

MYCS, a Germany-based start-up for customizable furniture, has selected Oracle NetSuite to streamline business processes and rapidly set up local operations in new markets.
