CGI

CGI and BNP Paribas Cardif have signed a new agreement for the delivery of services to support the insurer’s compliance with the International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) 17. CGI will provide business consulting and system integration services for a 21-month period to help BNP Paribas Cardif comply with IFRS 17 before its January 1, 2022 effective date.

Qualtrics

Qualtrics, a supplier of customer experience management solutions, announced that Garmin International has selected Qualtrics CoreXM to gain insights into experiences that impact their business.

NCR

Ahold Delhaize, a grocery retailer, has inked a five-year services contract with NCR to transform support for the retailer’s stores in the Netherlands. Ahold Delhaize, a NCR customer for managed services, chose NCR to provide Digital Connected Services to increase store IT availability by reducing the number of incidents by 21 percent while increasing equipment availability by 11 percent.

Vonage

Vonage, a supplier of business cloud communications, will be supporting the University of Pennsylvania’s (Penn) Information Systems & Computing Department (ISC) to power communications for more than 14,000 faculty and staff on its main campus in Philadelphia, PA.

AWS

Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced that Germany’s Bundesliga has selected AWS as its technology provider to deliver insight into live broadcast of Bundesliga games and enable new personalized fan experiences.

Bundesliga will use AWS artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), analytics, compute, database, and storage services to deliver real-time statistics to predict future plays and game outcomes, and recommend personalized match footage across mobile, online, streaming, and television broadcasts.

Tyler Technologies

Tyler Technologies has signed a software-as-a-service (SaaS) deal with Winston-Salem / Forsyth County Schools (WSFCS) in North Carolina for the deployment of Tyler’s Munis enterprise resource planning (ERP) and ExecuTime Time & Attendance solutions.

OpenGov

The County of Manatee, FL will be utilizing OpenGov Budgeting and Performance software to build the county budget, staffing model, and capital improvement plan (CIP) management. The county is also implementing OpenGov Communications and Reporting, integrated software.

PointPredictive

PointPredictive, a machine learning company, announced that Byrider has selected its risk scoring solutions to better segment high- and low-risk applications and dealers to improve profitability, expand loan availability and enhance the lending experience for both consumers and dealers.

Yumpingo

Yumpingo, a restaurant intelligence platform, announced a partnership with California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) to bring real-time guest insights to the 240+ unit worldwide restaurant brand.

CPK piloted Yumpingo at three flagship restaurants in the Los Angeles market beginning in August 2019. The results prompted CPK to green light the platform’s signature one-minute review for national rollout to all 181 U.S. CPKs in the first half of 2020 starting this February.

Zayo Group

Denver Public Schools (DPS) in partnership with Zayo Group Holdings has implemented a dark fiber private network across its district. The fiber network spans more than 600 route miles of fiber, which included more than 50 route miles of new build to reach 132 schools. The dark fiber network provides DPS with increased capacity, improved reliability and a more cost-effective solution.

Accenture

Accenture and ServiceNow have helped SCOR, a leading reinsurer, to transform its internal finance function by digitizing key business processes to improve workflow management and enable real-time reporting. The new system currently handles approximately 30 key finance processes, some of which integrate robotic process automation. The automation has reduced the workload of some processes by as much as 40 days per year.

IBM

CHO, a producer of olive oil in the southern Mediterranean, is using IBM Blockchain to provide traceability for its Terra Delyssa extra virgin olive oil across eight quality assurance checkpoints.

Extreme Networks

Extreme Networks announced the National Football League’s Tennessee Titans has upgraded to Extreme’s Wi-Fi 6 solutions to ensure faster speeds and higher-performance connectivity on game day to fans. Extreme Wi-Fi 6 deployments include Leeds Beckett University, West Texas A&M University’s Buffalo Stadium, and BBVA Stadium, home to Major League Soccer’s Houston Dynamo and the Houston Dash of the National Women’s Soccer League.

Infor announced Aminach, a leading furniture company in Israel, has selected Infor for the deployment of an enterprise resource planning (ERP). The project, which is being managed by Infor partner Intentia Israel, will serve 280 users across 46 stores nationwide and the manufacturing site in Israel.

Infor announced that Burton Snowboards (Burton) has selected Infor CloudSuite Fashion, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for the fashion industry. Burton also has expanded its Infor Nexus supply chain management capabilities to optimize inventory across channels, increase its direct-to-consumer business, operationalize its expansion to global markets, and upgrade its technology footprint to the cloud.
