IT deals: Capgemini, Wipro, Fiserv, Iteris

Capgemini, Wipro, Fiserv, Iteris, ACI Worldwide, Bluedrop Learning Networks, Bluedrop Learning Networks, among others, announced their latest IT deals or technology deployments.

Capgemini

Capgemini Group announced that the European Commission has awarded it a 3-year contract to set up the European Support Center for Data Sharing (SCDS), and provide related research and consulting services. Capgemini Invent will lead the three-year engagement coordinating a number of partners and subcontractors.

Wipro

Wipro, in partnership with R3, a blockchain software firm, has developed a blockchain-based solution prototype to enable digital currency for interbank settlements for a consortium consisting of the Bank of Thailand and eight commercial banks in Thailand.

Recurly

Bank of America Merchant Services, a provider of payments, ecommerce and security solutions, has joined hands with Recurly to help merchants generate revenue from subscribers and measure their business health, subscriber engagement and customer loyalty to drive profitability.

Fiserv

Fiserv announced that Hughes Federal Credit Union will enhance its digital capabilities with technology from Fiserv. The credit union will utilize Architect from Fiserv as a foundation for online, mobile and payments services, delivering digital experience to members.

Iteris

Iteris announced that it won a $3 million plus contract from the Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) to deploy its new international registration plan and fuel tax compliance solution.

Iteris will provide the new IRP/IFTA service, as well as its commercial vehicle screening and data aggregation solutions to Iowa DOT to facilitate motor carrier services throughout Iowa.

ACI Worldwide

ACI Worldwide announced its tech deal with 1st Source Bank for the deployment of ACI’s cloud-based digital banking solution, Universal Online Banker, to meet the shift in market demand toward digital banking and mobility.

Bluedrop Learning Networks

Bluedrop Learning Networks has won a $2.8 million IT contract to develop a managed digital service delivery channel solution to support the Department of Labour and Advanced Education (LAE) to help Nova Scotians connect with meaningful training and employment.

MiX Telematics

MiX Telematics, a provider of fleet and mobile asset management solutions, announced its tech deal with SPAR Group, one of fast moving consumer goods retailers in Southern Africa. The SPAR Group supports a network of independent retailers supplying goods and services to over 1000 SPAR stores across Southern Africa by means of its six distribution centres.
