Bespoke
Bespoke, AI-powered chatbot developed for tourists and travellers, announced its tech deal with Sendai Airport for beginning a 3-month trial of Bebot to serve English-speaking travellers.
Infor
Infor announced its tech deal with Norled, a ferry and express boat operator in Norway, for the deployment of Infor CloudSuite Human Capital Management (HCM) to support its digital transformation. The HR suite is expected to help reduce costs; bring agility in responding to staff changes, speed up HR processes and improve compliance.
SRI International
SRI International has won a multi-year $11.6 million tech contract from the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to develop chemical sensors that can support detection of chemical threats in complex urban environments.
Equinix
Equinix announced a $1 billion joint venture with GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, to develop and operate xScale data centers in Europe. The facilities will serve the core workload deployment needs of a targeted group of hyperscale companies, including the world’s largest cloud service providers.
GE Aviation
GE Aviation announced its deal with Kenya Airways for the deployment of Flight Operations suite of digital products across the airline’s fleet of Boeing 737, 787 and Embraer E190 airplanes. Kenya Airway’s fleet adds to the 15,468 aircraft assets that are connected to GE Aviation’s digital solutions.
