Textio, a developer of augmented writing platform, announced its deal with the McDonald’s as part of the plan to improve its hiring and recruiting process. McDonald’s receives upwards of 20 million applicants a year to support hiring nearly two million people.
Serco has won a $200.5 million tech contract to provide field office support services to the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). Serco will support PBGC Field Offices with benefit administration, document management, records management, administrative support, document intake, database building support, data analytics, and process automation. Serco will hire 200 employees to support this new program.
Cyient, a provider operations management solution, has won a tech deal from UK Power Networks. Cyient will develop an online outage planning and tracking integration portal that will help optimize distributed energy generation performance and deliver cost savings of as much as £1 million per year.
Ricoh, the $20 billion workplace technology company in US, has selected Zuora to improve the customer experience. The Zuora platform will power and manage all financial processes for Ricoh’s first subscription-based printing and document workflow service.
NCR announced its tech deal with Stockman Bank for deploying NCR Digital Banking to attract and retain profitable business banking relationships with a compelling new digital experience.
Smart City Networks
Smart City Networks announced that AEG at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) extended its tech contract with the company for another three years — to provide upgrades to prepare the venue for future technology.
Berry Appleman & Leiden (BAL), an immigration law firm, announced the selection of UiPath, an enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform. BAL will apply UiPath’s RPA solution to maximize business performance.
Sapiens International, a provider of software solutions for the insurance industry, announced its tech deal with KW Specialty Insurance Company, for the deployment of the Sapiens Core Suite for Property & Casualty as well as Sapiens ReinsurancePro.
Infor announced its ERP deal with dairy manufacturer Emmi for the deployment of Infor M3 ERP solutions in some of its subsidiaries to streamline its business operations. Emmi’s UK site has deployed the ERP solution in 2018. Emmi Canada and one of its US subsidiaries will follow this year, and the subsidiary in the Benelux in 2020.
Icertis announced its deal with Australian mining company Centennial Coal (Centennial) for the deployment of Icertis Contract Management (ICM) platform to streamline its contracting process.
Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) company, announced that the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, is using Aruba wireless, wired, security and location services solutions.
