IT deals: Aruba, Serco, Textio, Cyient, Zuora

Aruba, Serco, Textio, Cyient, Zuora, NCR, Smart City Networks, Sapiens, UiPath, Infor, Icertis, Raytheon, Perspecta, among others, announced their latest IT deals or technology deployments.
Tech dealsTextio

Textio, a developer of augmented writing platform, announced its deal with the McDonald’s as part of the plan to improve its hiring and recruiting process. McDonald’s receives upwards of 20 million applicants a year to support hiring nearly two million people.

Serco

Serco has won a $200.5 million tech contract to provide field office support services to the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). Serco will support PBGC Field Offices with benefit administration, document management, records management, administrative support, document intake, database building support, data analytics, and process automation. Serco will hire 200 employees to support this new program.

Cyient

Cyient, a provider operations management solution, has won a tech deal from UK Power Networks. Cyient will develop an online outage planning and tracking integration portal that will help optimize distributed energy generation performance and deliver cost savings of as much as £1 million per year.

Zuora

Ricoh, the $20 billion workplace technology company in US, has selected Zuora to improve the customer experience. The Zuora platform will power and manage all financial processes for Ricoh’s first subscription-based printing and document workflow service.

NCR

NCR announced its tech deal with Stockman Bank for deploying NCR Digital Banking to attract and retain profitable business banking relationships with a compelling new digital experience.

Smart City Networks

Smart City Networks announced that AEG at the Los Angeles Convention Center (LACC) extended its tech contract with the company for another three years — to provide upgrades to prepare the venue for future technology.

UiPath

Berry Appleman & Leiden (BAL), an immigration law firm, announced the selection of UiPath, an enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) platform. BAL will apply UiPath’s RPA solution to maximize business performance.

Sapiens

Sapiens International, a provider of software solutions for the insurance industry, announced its tech deal with KW Specialty Insurance Company, for the deployment of the Sapiens Core Suite for Property & Casualty as well as Sapiens ReinsurancePro.

Infor

Infor announced its ERP deal with dairy manufacturer Emmi for the deployment of Infor M3 ERP solutions in some of its subsidiaries to streamline its business operations. Emmi’s UK site has deployed the ERP solution in 2018. Emmi Canada and one of its US subsidiaries will follow this year, and the subsidiary in the Benelux in 2020.

Icertis

Icertis announced its deal with Australian mining company Centennial Coal (Centennial) for the deployment of Icertis Contract Management (ICM) platform to streamline its contracting process.

Aruba

Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) company, announced that the Downtown Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, is using Aruba wireless, wired, security and location services solutions.

NCR

NCR announced that Northgate Gonzalez Markets, a supermarket chain serving in Southern California, has selected NCR’s point-of-sale (POS) enterprise software, NCR Emerald to improve consumer experience.

Raytheon

Raytheon announced an agreement with Frequentis, an air traffic communications and data solutions provider, to modernize civil airport operations in the United States using remote virtual tower technology.

Amperity

Amperity announced Lucky Brand is deploying its Customer Data and Identity Platform to manage first-party customer data.

Perspecta

Perspecta has won a $71 million contract from the United States Air Force (USAF).

Infosys

Infosys has been selected by UK-based Rolls-Royce to deliver digital and engineering services.

Dell EMC

New Belgium Brewing, the fourth largest US craft brewer, has selected Dell EMC PowerEdge servers. New Belgium has selected on-premises infrastructure driven by Dell EMC PowerEdge servers as engines to host several mission critical workloads.

NCR

Tidemark Federal Credit Union in Delaware and Maryland recently selected NCR because of its mobile banking experience.

Okta

Okta, a provider of identity for the enterprise, announced that Hitachi Group has deployed the Okta Identity Cloud to increase agility and securely consolidate the access experience across its hundreds of global business units.

Okta’s clients include Australia Post, Cengage, Peet’s Coffee, Phillips 66, Texas Workforce Commission, Tyson, and Qdoba.

SoftBank Robotics

HSBC Bank USA and SoftBank Robotics America will begin a larger rollout of Pepper, the humanoid robot. Customers in Los Angeles County will be greeted by Pepper, standing ready to answer questions and provide a memorable banking experience.

TomTom

TomTom has won a new deal from Volkswagen Group car brands to provider its traffic service. They include Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge, Skoda, Lamborghini and Bentley.

In addition, TomTom has been chosen as the traffic service provider for Audi vehicles in China and Japan.

Accenture

Accenture said it is assisting Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev), the world’s largest brewer, to increase the efficiency of its trade promotions in Europe through the implementation of the cloud-based Accenture Trade Promotion (TPM) solution.

Nielsen

Nielsen announced that Cardinal Health has selected Nielsen as its analytics provider for retail syndicated market and panel data.

Black Knight

Black Knight announced that newly formed RMLS Alliance, LLC has selected Paragon as its multiple listing service (MLS) system.

Orange Business

Orange Business Services has been selected by Gujarat Government to install and manage public safety and security infrastructure.
