Intuit to improve bill payment system with Check acquisition

In order to improve its bill payment mechanism across small business and personal finance products, Intuit has announced the buyout of Check, a Palo Alto-based company in mobile bill pay that serves 10 million registered users.

As a result of the buyout, Check’s mobile app will automate and consolidate the bill pay process in one place. The mechanism helps in tracking bills and accounts, and customer can receive alerts when bills are pending.

The move follows the rising demand from consumers for mobile apps that help to keep an eye on their day to day financial transaction.
