Infosys wins tech contract from zooplus to boost e-commerce capabilities

Infosys has announced a collaboration with European e-commerce giant zooplus, in order to enhance zooplus’ service capacity, scalability, and operational efficiency.

The collaboration will see zooplus leverage Infosys Topaz, an AI-first solution powered by generative AI technologies. This initiative is expected to drive innovation in e-commerce, streamline operations, and optimize marketing and supply chain functions. Additionally, it will bolster zooplus’ product management, technology, and engineering capabilities.

Together, they will establish a Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. Infosys did not reveal the size of the tech contract.

Geoffroy Lefebvre, CEO of zooplus SE, highlighted the importance of this partnership in meeting the company’s customer demands through data-driven insights. Infosys’ AI expertise and cost-efficiency focus were key factors in zooplus selecting the Indian IT giant for this project.

Karmesh Vaswani, Infosys’ Executive Vice President & Global Head of Consumer, Retail & Logistics, emphasized the role of technology in driving digital transformation. He stated that this collaboration will position zooplus at the forefront of e-commerce and digital marketing excellence.
