Infosys, a leading IT services provider, has reported 9.6 percent growth in revenues to $4.659 billion during the October-December quarter of 2022.
Digital revenues represented 62.9 percent of total revenues, registering growth of 21.7 percent, Infosys said announcing its financial result. Operating margin reached 21.5 percent, a decline of 2 percent.
“Our revenue growth was strong in the quarter, with both digital business and core services growing. This is a clear reflection of our deep client relevance, industry-leading digital, cloud, and automation capabilities, and the unrelenting dedication of our employees,” said Salil Parekh, CEO and MD of Infosys, in a news statement.
Major industry verticals that contributed to the business performance of Infosys are Financial services (29.3 percent of total revenue), Retail (14.3 percent), Communications, (12.3 percent), Energy, Utilities, Resources & Services (13 percent), Manufacturing (13.3 percent), Hi-Tech (8.1 percent) and Life Sciences (7 percent) during Q3 fiscal 2023.
Infosys had 346,845 employees including 329,296 software professionals at the end of December 2022.
