Infosys will supply application development services to Volvo Cars for its global operations.

Infosys has been supporting Volvo Cars since 2010 to rationalize and integrate its enterprise systems.

On 12 September, Tech Mahindra said it will assist Volvo Cars for its application maintenance and development initiative. As per the IT deal, Volvo Cars will benefit from increased efficiency and reduced costs. Tech Mahindra will offer application maintenance and development across multiple domains, including manufacturing, product development, marketing, sales and reporting.
Infosys deal with Volvo
As part of the new agreement, Infosys will bring its global service delivery experience and ability to drive innovation and transformation. It will develop applications to support multiple domains, including marketing and sales, customer service, manufacturing, product development, and corporate functions. In addition, Infosys will deploy best practices specifically related to business process harmonization and delivery excellence, across transformation projects.
Nitesh Bansal, vice president Manufacturing Europe, Infosys, said: “We will be a supplier for Volvo Cars to deliver excellence and innovation to transform their IT landscape to a modern architecture. This agreement also reflects our strategic focus on the Nordic market and strengthens our presence in Sweden.”
