Indian software firm Infosys announced its agreement to acquire Brilliant Basics, a London-based product design and customer experience (CX) company.
The strategy of the technology outsourcing company is to expand the connected network of Digital Studios. These studios are focused on fulfilling the needs of its global clients for Digital Transformation solutions to meet customer demand for enhanced customer experiences.
Over the next one decade, retailers and consumer goods companies have the potential to unlock $2.95 trillion in value for the industry by accelerating digital transformation, according to Accenture.
Accenture said investments in digitally-driven business models will offer consumers more choices in how they purchase goods and services, and enable companies to deliver profitable experiences.
“Brilliant Basics will leverage the breadth and depth of Infosys Digital to drive Digital Transformation solutions, which connect our clients’ Systems of Record to new Systems of Engagement,” said Ravi Kumar S, president and deputy COO of Infosys.
Anand Verma is the founder and CEO of Brilliant Basics.
Infosys Digital Studios spans globe – from Bengaluru and Pune to New York, London and Melbourne. The addition of Brilliant Basics will enhance the company’s expertise in the financial services, retail and telecom sectors across Europe and the Middle East.
