At HP Discover 2014 in Barcelona, HP said its Technology Services will offer Chef’s IT automation platform as part of its Datacenter Care – Infrastructure Automation offering.
Chef enables developers and operations to collaborate for delivering software and services.
HP Datacenter Care delivers the support and expertise in one personalized service, for increased IT stability, accountability and agility. By incorporating Chef into this offering, HP can help enterprises turn their infrastructure into code, empowering a DevOps approach to software delivery and IT operations.
Chef gives enterprises the best platform for automating IT infrastructure and application delivery across Windows, Linux and Unix, in the data center or on any combination of cloud platforms.
“HP is pleased to be working with Chef on our extension to Datacenter Care, enabling even more IT agility and reliability so businesses can deliver value to their customers faster than before,” said Scott Weller, senior vice president, HP Technology Services – Support.
