Hitachi Data Systems has expanded its Hitachi solutions for SAP software to include solutions designed to optimize the performance, business continuity, data protection, and scalability of SAP software-enabled platforms.
The solutions are designed to enable their joint SAP customers to maximize their investments in SAP solutions like the SAP HANA platform, improving efficiency in their existing SAP software landscapes. The new solutions provide high-performing real-time analytics, mission-critical ERP, customer relationship management (CRM) and supply chain management (SCM, Hitachi said.
The solutions deliver highly scalable architecture and security required for the delivery of mission critical applications. They help accelerate time-to-value, application performance and mission-critical data availability of solutions running SAP software.
One of the solutions, Hitachi Unified Compute Platform for SAP HANA, version for SAP Business Suite software powered by SAP HANA, enables rapid deployment of SAP Business Suite running on SAP HANA.
Hitachi Unified Compute Platform for SAP HANA with Hitachi TrueCopy synchronous replication for disaster recovery for SAP HANA delivers a continuous, non-disruptive, host-independent remote data replication solution for persistent storage data protection of SAP HANA.
SAP HANA Enterprise Cloud hosted on Hitachi converged infrastructure offers a private cloud hosting service for SAP Business Suite software, which includes custom and out-of-the box applications based on SAP HANA, and SAP NetWeaver Business Warehouse software for a single instance of the SAP HANA platform.
Hitachi storage product line integration with SAP NetWeaver Landscape Virtualization Management 2.0 software, enterprise edition allows customers to integrate Hitachi storage systems with SAP NetWeaver Landscape Virtualization Management.
Hitachi Unified Compute Platform for SAP HANA supported by Symantec NetBackup:Customers are able to add further protection for the SAP HANA database with Hitachi UCP for SAP HANA supported by Symantec NetBackup.
