Hanesbrands Inc., renowned for its iconic apparel brands, has chosen Wipro as a key partner to spearhead its digital transformation, aiming to boost business growth and profitability.
This new agreement solidifies the longstanding strategic partnership between the two companies, expanding Wipro’s role in Hanesbrands’ business and technology transformation initiatives. Hanesbrands reported sales of $1.16 billion during the first quarter of 2024. Hanesbrands has reported technology spending of $181 million during the first quarter of 2024.
Wipro, a global leader in IT, consulting, and business process services, will leverage its expertise in application management, cybersecurity, intelligent automation, and artificial intelligence (AI) to drive Hanesbrands’ digital agenda. Although the financial specifics of the contract were not disclosed, the scope of the engagement is significant.
Under the terms of the deal, Wipro will be instrumental in defining Hanesbrands’ cloud strategy and facilitating the seamless integration of various business functions. This will enable Hanesbrands to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
Additionally, Wipro will introduce next-generation tools and services aimed at refining product lifecycle processes, ultimately accelerating the time-to-market for Hanesbrands’ products.
