GoDaddy deploys Jive-n interactive intranet solution

GoDaddy has deployed the Jive-n interactive intranet solution to improve employee engagement and communications.

GoDaddy has fourteen facilities including Silicon Valley, the U.S., Hyderabad, India and Belfast in Northern Ireland.

The deployment of Jive-n interactive intranet solution will assist GoDaddy developers, who are in the process of rolling out technology initiatives, to can share best practices and knowledge among team members.

“We are focused on helping small businesses succeed around the world. Jive-n will help us support this effort and turn us into a more agile organization,” said Arne Josefsberg, chief infrastructure officer and chief information officer at GoDaddy.

GoDaddy launched Jive-n — integrated with the company’s JIRA technical community — to more than 4,500 employees, providing dedicated workspaces for project teams. GoDaddy team members can share project ideas and content across time zones or functional teams. The company is using Jive’s gamification features to increase idea sharing, collaboration and feedback.

GoDaddy will also benefit from Jive’s internal communications tools to effectively share company news and monitor employee sentiment. The company uses Jive-n to disseminate important updates and details to thousands of award-winning call center employees who support more than 13 million customers worldwide.

Akamai, EMC, FICO, Hitachi Data Systems, Nuance, Okta, Tableau and Toshiba are some of the main clients of Jive.
