Globant, a visionary force in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions, has unveiled a five-year investment initiative totaling $1 billion.
This strategic move seeks to fortify Globant’s presence across Latin America, fostering innovation, and harnessing the potential of emerging technologies.
At the heart of this investment, Globant is set to establish an Innovation and Emerging Technologies Center in San Pablo. Here, a cadre of specialists will embark on groundbreaking explorations into the realms of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing.
These visionary endeavors aim to empower Globant’s clients to seize the potential of these trends, both in the present and long into the future. Specifically catering to the Brazilian market, the Center will be a crucible for the development of novel AI applications tailored for Salesforce solutions, a key cornerstone of Globant’s growth trajectory in the country.
Driving this transformative venture is Globant X, the distinguished product and platforms division of Globant. Comprising formidable platforms like Augoor, MagnifAI, StarMeUp, and GeneXus, Globant X is primed to steer these initiatives toward unprecedented horizons.
With an unswerving commitment to innovation, Globant is poised to amplify its workforce by an impressive 20,000 professionals over the next five years. This visionary expansion will span across 30 development centers strategically located in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico, and Uruguay.
Martin Migoya, Co-founder and CEO of Globant, expressed the essence of this ambitious initiative: “We want to expand our capacity for innovation and development of our AI-based offering, always to help organizations stay relevant and leaders in the future.”
Ignacio Iglesias, Chief Business Officer of Globant for Latin America, underscored the strategic significance of the endeavor: “Latin America is a key market for our company and we want to strengthen our regional operation. In this regard, our new Emerging Technologies Innovation Center will drive development in various technologies, like AI, to guide our clients in a constantly evolving world.”
Since its inception in 2003, hailing from Argentina, Globant has emerged as a preeminent digital transformation catalyst in the region. With global titans such as Google, Electronic Arts, and Santander among its clients, Globant has etched its presence across more than 25 countries, boasting a workforce of over 27,000 employees.
Recent accolades have further solidified Globant’s pioneering status, as it was recently recognized as a leader in the IDC MarketScape Worldwide Artificial Intelligence Services 2023 Vendor Assessment, affirming its pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of this transformative technology.
