GDT, provider of managed network and professional services, has selected CA Unified Infrastructure Management (UIM) for its 3,200 square foot Network Operations Center (NOC).
GDT will safeguard connectivity and service levels for its customers around the world using CA UIM which provides end-to-end visibility of its clients’ environments across multiple platforms.
The company said it can monitor and project more than 20,000 network elements.
Additionally, GDT has improved service quality, reduced the service delivery cost for its customers and enable engineers to manage the organization’ tenfold increase in services by providing a comprehensive view of its clients’ networks.
According to CA Technologies with CA UIM, instead of reacting to alerts and alarms, the team can respond to real issues.
The company for its NOC required the solution which modernize its infrastructure monitoring capabilities, minimize downtime and reduce mean time to repair.
By deploying CA UIM, GDT has eliminated the cost and complexity associated with maintaining multiple solutions and improved the efficiency and effectiveness of its engineers.
“With CA UIM we can customize features that enable us to provide an unparalleled depth of application level monitoring inside the contact center environment, and better understand in real time what the end customer experience is really like,” said Anil Vettle, director of managed services, GDT.
Last month, CA Technologies acquired Grid Tools, a provider of enterprise test data management, automated test design and optimization software solutions.
In April, CA Technologies identity and access management (IAM) solution for managed service providers, CA Secure Cloud, integrated into BT’s new managed identity service, BT Assure Cloud Identity.
