3i Infotech said Gandhar Oil Refinery India has implemented its ORION ERP software to ensure auto reconciliation of more than 10,000 bank receipts and payments per month.
Gandhar Oil Refinery, which has two manufacturing facilities at Silvassa in Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Taloja in Maharashtra, can control all operations from the head office, helping in delegation of tasks across 15 branches.
Improvement in automation, centralized data access and effective time management across the organization will be the main benefits to Gandhar Oil.
Earlier, Gandhar Oil Refinery India used a distributed file-based system and the decision makers and other employees lacked access to online information or automated reports for quick decision-making.
In addition, the IT team struggled to collate data during half-yearly and yearly financial closure. Since the account team maintained operational data in excel sheets, there were human errors.
“With recent upgrades to the ERP solution over two years back, we continue to benefit from its’ robust performance, and are considering another upgrade shortly to meet our growing business requirements,” said Suhag Shukla, IT head of Gandhar Oil Refinery India.
