First Global Data has set up a 60:40 joint venture with RP Telebuy Skyshop to launch its digital wallet payment technology in India.
Telebuy, an online shopping company, has approximately 2.5 million customers and 60,000 merchants in its distribution network.
“Telebuy’s business and existing base of millions of customers provides First Global with penetration into one of the largest consumer markets in the world,” said Andre Itwaru, president of First Global Data Corporation.
