ESi Acquisitions ties up with HCL Infosystems to launch WebEOC software in India

Infotech Lead India: Crisis Information Management Software (CIMS) provider ESi Acquisitions has tied up with HCL Infosystems to launch WebEOC software and services in India.

As part of their agreement, ESi Acquisitions and HCL Infosystems will co-operate for joint initiatives.

The partnership is expected to create new market opportunities and also contribute to the expansion of the Crisis management solution market in the country. ESi Acquisitions is bringing its WebEOC Software and Services to the Indian market.

“We believe that there is a tremendous opportunity for both the companies to pursue in providing WebEOC software and services to government and private corporations,” said Paul Butler, director of ESi Acquisition.

WebEOC, an Internet-enabled, locally-configurable incident and event management system, is currently installed in over 750 organizations.

The configurable software platform allows governments or private corporations to communicate and collaborate in managing daily operations, as well as to support emergency management functions, by providing a common operating picture with comprehensive situational awareness for all decision makers within the organization.

“The partnership will further strengthen our portfolio and enable us to provide a world class and state of the art solution to our customers. I am sure that together with ESi we will be able to achieve robust success and create new benchmarks in the Indian market,” said Neeraj Jaitley, president of Enterprise Solutions, HCL Infosystems.

Recently, HCL Infosystems signed a Managed Service Provider (MSP) contract with the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) to implement and manage the Central ID Repository (CIDR) for UIDAI. The contract is for a period of seven years.
