Epicor explains how its ERP solution is assisting API of Malaysia

Epicor Software announced that Alliance Precast Industries (API) has selected its global enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution, Epicor ERP, to develop automation capabilities and enable business growth.
Epicor ERP softwareKuala Lumpur, Malaysia-based API, which is a manufacturer of precast reinforced concrete products for infrastructure and building industries, has developed Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2 (KLIA2) and the Penang International Airport, among other projects.

API, which has six factories across Malaysia, will use Epicor ERP system to enable greater efficiency, productivity, and business process automation.

Business development team at API believes that Epicor ERP system will reduce waste and minimize errors to improve the speed and efficiency in meeting customer demand.

“Purposefully built for manufacturers as a single end-to-end business software solution, we are confident Epicor ERP will help our company streamline processes and improve customer responsiveness, making it a perfect fit for our business,” API spokesperson said.

API relied on manual processes for invoicing and sales orders, creating inefficiencies, since there was no computerized system in place.

API will use Epicor ERP to create business documents such as invoices and purchase orders that become part of the automated work processes. API will gain improved visibility of the operations and help business leaders to take faster decisions that support business growth, said Vincent Tang, regional vice president for Asia at Epicor Software.
