Del Monte Foods deploys GT Nexus platform to improve visibility
Del Monte Foods deployed GT Nexus platform to improve visibility and collaboration into the extended supply chain, GT Nexus said on Wednesday.

Del Monte Foods Inc. is one of the U.S.’s largest producers, distributors and marketers of premium quality, branded food products.

A cloud-based network delivers supplier collaboration to streamline ordering processes, enables inbound-to-plant visibility, and provides a single view to manage global transportation.

“Our enterprise supply chain strategy requires seeing well beyond the walls of our business, into the supply network,” said Mitch Hunter, director of supply chain at Del Monte Foods.

Operating on a cloud network enables Del Monte to capture a single global view of suppliers, data and movement of goods in a central hub that is viewable across internal departments and external partners.

“GT Nexus is able to provide a networked environment that fosters visibility into suppliers, shipments and inventory,” said Sean Feeney, CEO of GT Nexus.

Del Monte has the tools to know when shipments will arrive at a certain spot in the supply chain and make adjustments, if necessary, to meet customer needs.
