Dassault Systemes to power Blackberrys to drive profitable growth

Dassault Systemes My Collection3D design software company Dassault Systemes announced its deal with Mohan Clothing Company, owner of Blackberrys brand.

Dassault Systemes will supply “My Collection” industry solution experience for fashion to manage the product development processes and drive profitable growth of Mohan Clothing.

Mohan Clothing sells Blackberrys brand of menswear to 200 exclusive stores, 1,000 other stores and online.

Based on Dassault Systemes’ 3DEXPERIENCE platform, My Collection industry solution experience provides a unified digital environment to manage the entire lifecycle of a collection:  inspiration, ideation, planning, design, development, merchandising, visual assortment planning and product marketing.

Following a six-month implementation period for My Collection, Mohan Clothing has access to a single source of data to manage multiple product categories and changes to a collection’s launch, all while ensuring product quality. My Collection enables collaboration across Mohan Clothing’s supply chain, and reduces the time to market of its collections.

“We chose Dassault Systemes’ My Collection industry solution experience to take a disruptive approach toward achieving our business goals,” said Nitin Mohan, managing director of Mohan Clothing.

“Consumer goods and retail companies in India are recognizing the value that our business experience platform can bring to their operations, such as a 50 percent improvement in operational efficiencies and speed to market,” said Samson Khaou, managing director India, Dassault Systemes.

E-commerce portal Myntra has earlier partnered with 3D software maker Dassault Systemes to offer virtual showrooms.
