CSC and AT&T will develop cloud solutions for enterprise globally.
As per the agreement, the companies will combine CSC’s cloud services with AT&T’s network and cloud infrastructure platform to help enterprises move to the cloud.
CSC will deliver its BizCloud and other cloud services via AT&T’s cloud infrastructure platform and networks.
“This agreement advances our cloud market position by layering our cloud platform on to AT&T’s worldwide network and infrastructure architecture, capitalizing on evolving technology solutions and enabling AT&T and its clients to modernize their applications to take advantage of these solutions,” said CSC President and CEO Mike Lawrie.
CSC will provide application expertise to AT&T and its customers. Working with AT&T, CSC will enhance and migrate applications to enable AT&T’s customers to benefit from a secure cloud environment.
In addition, AT&T will assume management of CSC’s internal network and its managed network services portfolio with commercial clients, providing CSC and its clients with secure network capability. With AT&T’s network at the edge of CSC’s data centers, the companies will be able to deploy cloud solutions quickly for their customers.
“By harnessing AT&T’s global network and cloud infrastructure platform and CSC’s consulting and applications expertise, companies can now manage their operations better and create new ways of transforming the experience they deliver to their customers,” said Andy Geisse, CEO, AT&T Business Solutions.
