Coverys, an insurance group, has deployed Accenture Duck Creek software to support its property and casualty insurance product development and policy, rating, billing and claims administration.
Implementation of the software will assist Coverys to enhance and improve efficiencies through automated and streamlined operations.
Coverys insure more than 25,000 physicians, surgeons, dentists, certified nurse midwives and allied healthcare providers as well as more than 500 hospitals, health centers and clinics.
Thanks to Accenture Duck Creek software, Coverys new integrated platform will better support extremely large schedules, offer advanced reporting, and enable high volume processing within every segment of the business.
Earlier this month, Pacific Speciality Insurance also selected Accenture to deliver its Accenture Duck Creek suite through software. The new software has replaced Pacific Speciality Insurance’s legacy based property and casualty insurance system.
The new system was designed to help Pacific Speciality enhance underwriter effectiveness, reduce low costs, improve customer retention and drive profitable growth.
“Because our business is rather unique, transition from a legacy based system to a modern platform required building one capable of enhancing our business agility, collecting and providing access to the right data to make better decisions and delivering superior customer services,” said Eric Crockett, vice president of information technology at Coverys.
Accenture Duck Creek software includes policy, rating, billing and claims solutions. Each component can be implemented or combined for an integrated approach to manage aspects of the property and casualty insurance lifecycle.
