Cognizant Chosen as Fortrea’s Strategic Tech Partner for Business Transformation

Fortrea, a provider of clinical development and patient access solutions to the life sciences industry, has selected Cognizant as strategic technology transformation provider.

Fortrea recently completed its spin-off from its parent company in June 2023, aimed at enhancing agility and capitalizing on growth opportunities in clinical trials and patient access.

In 2024, Cognizant, one of the leading IT service providers, will play a crucial role in facilitating Fortrea’s transition from its agreements with its former parent company, ensuring a smooth shift and establishing a robust global infrastructure, application management, and end-user services for Fortrea.

The strategic services provided by Cognizant are anticipated to elevate Fortrea’s data and analytical capabilities, setting new standards in the Contract Research Organization (CRO) industry. Moreover, Fortrea expects to leverage Cognizant’s expertise in life sciences and healthcare technology to address the evolving needs of its customers, including leading enterprises in the industry.
