Cognizant and McDonald’s ink new tech contract

Cognizant and McDonald’s have announced a multi-year extension of their strategic partnership, initially established in 2017, aimed at enhancing staff enablement, customer experience, and operational efficiency through advanced technology.

Under the renewed agreement, Cognizant will continue supporting key enterprise areas such as Global Finance Systems, Human Capital Management, payroll processing, franchisee management, master data management, and legal applications. The partnership emphasizes leveraging Cognizant’s platforms like Cognizant Neuro IT Operations and Skygrade to improve observability, reliability, and agility.

The collaboration highlights innovations in Cloud, Enterprise AI, and Generative AI, supported by Cognizant’s expertise in the food services industry.

McDonald’s values Cognizant’s role in streamlining enterprise applications and advancing their cloud journey, enabling the company to focus on delivering exceptional food and customer experiences.
