The CILC, situated within Cognizant’s 50-acre Siruseri campus, is projected to be completed within three years. Cognizant aims to train 100,000 individuals annually. The center will house 14,000 seats, smart classrooms, incubator hubs, client experience spaces, and design thinking centers.

Additionally, it will offer residential accommodations and well-being facilities. Operating under a hub-and-spoke model, the CILC will extend support to other learning centers in Hyderabad, Pune, Kochi, and Coimbatore, which are being developed in phases.

Cognizant’s investment in the Siruseri learning center is a testament to its award-winning learning and development ecosystem. The center will integrate cutting-edge infrastructure with immersive learning experiences, advanced AI-skilling programs, and executive leadership training.

It will serve as a primary training hub for Cognizant’s school graduate program in India and facilitate intensive boot camps for fresh graduates. Furthermore, the CILC will function as a collaborative space where technology partners, academic institutions, clients, and local communities can engage in research and innovation.

“The capabilities to excel in an AI-driven world will differentiate the leaders from the followers,” said Ravi Kumar S, CEO of Cognizant. “Our new centers will power new skills and our culture of continuous learning, enabling our people to drive business impact for enterprises globally.”

Beyond talent development, Cognizant continues to expand its physical footprint. Since 2024, the company has established new delivery centers in Bhubaneswar and Indore, with plans to open a techfin center in GIFT City, Gujarat.

Cognizant has transformed nearly one million square feet at its Hyderabad delivery center and modernized its three-acre facility in Kolkata. These centers are designed to support the future of work, fostering agility, collaboration, and innovation while enhancing the employee experience.

Cognizant remains at the forefront of AI adoption and upskilling initiatives. The company partners with leading global organizations to transform business processes, enhance productivity, and create new value through AI and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions. In 2024 alone, Cognizant empowered nearly 277,000 associates through its learning ecosystem, with 168,000 completing a GenAI course. To date, more than 220,000 associates have been upskilled in GenAI, reinforcing Cognizant’s commitment to building a future-ready workforce.

With a global workforce of approximately 336,800 employees — over 70 percent of whom are based in India — Cognizant maintains a strong presence across key cities, including Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Indore, Kochi, Kolkata, Mangaluru, Mumbai, and Pune. Through its focus on talent development and AI-driven transformation, Cognizant is poised to remain a leader in the AI-driven digital business.
