The Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry has integrated Adobe Sign into their digital documentation process.
The use of Adobe’s e-signature solution will enable the Cochin Chamber to ease the distribution process of digital documents for its members.
The Chamber offers documentation services such as certificates of origin, visa invitation letters, no objection certificates, attestations and more to its members to apply for visas, export goods, register a foreign branch of the company etc.
Adobe said the process will help reduce the complexity in export documentation, logistics, sending documents to multiple agencies for signing etc. The member community achieved 90 percent reduction in turnaround time for document processing after the implementation of Adobe Sign.
“With the recent implementation of Adobe Sign, we have been able to make the entire process of digital documentation easy, legal and reliable for our members,” said Shaji Varghese, president of the Cochin Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
The market for e-signatures in India is growing at a CAGR of 57 percent and is expected to cross over 90 million transactions by 2020.
“Adobe’s signature solution, along with Docswallet Digital Locker Services, aims to ease the way of doing business for clients, especially in trade,” Sunil Kumar Mohapatra, director – South Asia Region, Adobe, said.
