Infotech Lead America: CA Technologies has made key enhancements to the CA Global Partner Program to provide partners more flexibility, speed and agility to match the pace of rapidly changing business models and keep up with rising demands from new customers.
A recent study shows that CIOs will continue to outsource to third-party providers mainly with the aim of standardization of the “hybrid cloud” approach in the IT industry. This includes both on and off premise as 80 percent of enterprise IT using third-party providers. Many organizations have to operate in hybrid IT environments, for which they are turning to partners for help.
The CA Global Partner Program empowers partners to execute hybrid business models to support customer requirements for consistent enterprise-class solutions, whether delivered on premise or remotely as a service.
In FY14, CA Technologies will launch a new program feature for service providers. Some of the enhanced benefits within the CA Global Partner Program include access to training for designated CA Technologies solutions; Managed Service Offering (MSO) assets with integrated and packaged modular solutions ready for rapid deployment, Center of Excellence (CoE) Library and workshop content available to Service Providers (SP) through the CA Partner Portal, Partner Delivered Support Library content and access to the CA Technical Support Education Library to educate qualifying partner support staff to handle and qualify issues with customers.
The program also extends support by offering new business planning tools that will help partners to further define and grow their go-to-market plans and improve their execution with CA Technologies solutions and products.
Partners will be provided market support with business plan-based business development funds for Premier and Advanced members; co-marketing programs and services for Premier and Advanced Members, solution launch assistance, access to weekly webcasts, Partner Fast Facts newsletter, a CA Global Partner mobile app and up to date content on the My CA Partner Portal.
Partners will benefit from sales support through defined rules of engagement along with online access to standard CA pricing information.
