Infotech Lead America: Bray International, a manufacturer of flow control products, has selected SugarCRM to enhance collaboration among its distributed worldwide sales team.
Dumping Salesforce.com, Bray, which has 16 manufacturing locations, will extend CRM users to more distributors and customers, including a multi-lingual global support model.
Bray originally implemented Salesforce.com as its CRM solution, but after several years, company executives realized that they were not receiving the enhanced services they required to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Brad Kirchhofer, chief operating officer, Bray International. said: “We liked SugarCRM because of its mobile capabilities and options for cloud or on-site deployment, which gives us a voice in our own future. We’ve had a demanding roll-out schedule with Sugar since we started and SugarCRM has met the challenge.”
According to a new study by ISF and IDC, CRM applications for smartphones and tablets are a top priority for professionals on–the-go. In a survey of 450 C-suite executives worldwide, 31 percent of respondents identified CRM as the most-wanted mobile application.
To tap enterprise smartphone market, SugarCRM launched its next generation SugarCRM Mobile application for all iOS devices, and previewed the SugarCRM Mobile application for Android devices.

The new SugarCRM Mobile application, powered by HTML5, offers easier way for employees in the field to stay connected with their customers; track the latest updates on their campaigns, deals, and contacts; and update their CRM records, all in real time.
