Infotech Lead Asia: Verdasys, a provider of Enterprise Information Protection solutions and managed services for enterprises, appointed Yuji Ohashi as country manager for Japan.
Before joining Verdasys, Ohashi worked with Blue Coat.
The company has also entered into a strategic partnership with RTM Asia to help drive expansion across the Asia Pacific region.
The moves mark a progression of Verdasys’ APAC resources from a single office serving Japan and Taiwan into a wider network that can take advantage of Ohashi’s experience within Japan and RTM Asia’s marketing and sales networks across the region, where the company is experiencing exceptional growth.

Besides Blue Coat, Ohashi also worked with Cisco and Foundry Networks.
Most recently, his expertise in marketing, channel development and customer relationships helped web security company Blue Coat exceed its growth objectives in Japan’s high tech industry.
Specializing in increasing American software companies’ sales in the region, RTM Asia will enhance Verdasys’ presence in Taiwan and expand the company’s coverage into South Korea, Southeast Asia and China.
