Bank Audi taps NCR for real-time video in Lebanon

Bank Audi has deployed interactive video technology from NCR Corporation to deliver extended teller services to its customers in Lebanon.

Bank Audi launched its first NCR Interactive Teller at its Novo Palladium branch in Bab Idriss, Beirut allowing bank customers to conduct transactions with a live, remote teller over an ATM.

The bank will provide better customer service with convenient banking hours over seven days a week.

Using NCR Interactive Teller, customers can perform banking transactions, manage their accounts, deposit and cash cheques, deposit and withdraw cash, pay bills, transfer money to a Bank Audi account and get live assistance through video conferencing with personal tellers.

Additionally, centrally located teller take full remote control of all modules on the device and engage the customer over two-way real-time video conversation.

Also, video interaction and teller-assisted transaction processing also reduce operating costs by enabling tellers at a remote central location to operate units deployed across multiple sites.

With the deployment of NCR Interactive Teller bank employees can connect with customers face-to-face outside of normal banking hours.

“With NCR Interactive Teller, we are actually increasing access to banking services using technology, while maintaining the comfort of human interaction,” said Marc Audi, general manager, Bank Audi Lebanon.

Last month, National Bank of Ras Al-Khaimah (RAKBANK) in the UAE selected NCR Corporation to transform its banking services.

In March, Akbank deployed NCR Interactive Teller to enhance customer experience by increasing access to everyday banking services.
