Autodesk buys estimating solution provider ProEst

Autodesk announced the acquisition of ProEst, a provider of estimating solution for construction teams to create estimates, perform digital takeoffs, generate detailed reports and proposals and manage bid-day processes.
Autodesk IT eventAutodesk plans to integrate ProEst with Autodesk Construction Cloud, a construction management platform connecting teams, data and workflows across the entire building lifecycle.

The acquisition will strengthen Autodesk Construction Cloud’s preconstruction offerings and empower construction teams to manage their preconstruction and construction workflows on one platform.

Autodesk in November said total billings increased 16 percent to $1.168 billion in the third quarter of fiscal 2022. Autodesk’s revenue grew 18 percent to $1.126 billion and recurring revenue represents 97 percent of total.

Autodesk in November announced the acquisition of cloud-based animation pipeline software from Tangent Labs.
