Pierre Mustier, the former CEO of Italian bank UniCredit, will take over immediately from Paul Saleh, who had assumed the CEO position in January. Pierre Mustier’s appointment marks the fifth change in leadership for the French IT company in less than two years.

This leadership transition coincides with the Nanterre Commercial Court’s validation of an accelerated safeguard procedure to implement Atos’ financial restructuring plan. Earlier this month, Atos secured funding from banks and bondholders, targeting 1.675 billion euros to support its restructuring efforts.
