Aspect Software hires Jim Freeze from Crossbeam and Mihir Shah from IBM

Infotech Lead India: Customer contact and enterprise workforce optimization provider Aspect Software has strengthened its top management.

Aspect Software has appointed Mihir Shah as vice president of corporate development. Shah will be working in a cross-functional capacity on Aspect’s long-term strategy, business development and mergers & acquisitions.

Before joining Aspect, Mihir was with IBM in the Information Management Software Division with responsibility for mergers and acquisitions, and business development. In this role, he led acquisitions of both public and private firms and made critical contributions to due diligence and post-acquisition integration.

Aspect Software has also appointed Jim Freeze as senior vice president and chief marketing officer of the company.

He will look after the company’s corporate messaging platform, external elevation of the brand, and development and execution of product and solution marketing strategies.

Before joining Aspect, Freeze worked with Crossbeam Systems as chief marketing officer and vice president of Corporate Development. Prior to Crossbeam, Jim ran marketing at global technology companies such as 3Com, Genuity and CompuServe.
