Accenture replaces core policy administration at Mountain States Insurance Group


In a bid to enable insurer hasten its product development processes and enhance customer service, Mountain States Insurance Group has chosen Accenture Duck Creek property and casualty (P&C) policy software suite.

The software suite will replace legacy policy administration and billing systems at insurer, which provides commercial P&C products.

The insurer will use Accenture Duck Creek Policy Administration and Accenture Duck Creek Billing as its core policy administration and billing systems.

“After an extensive vendor search, it was clear that the modern technology and highly flexible configuration capabilities of the Accenture Duck Creek software would enable us to meet our goals,” said Beau Irwin, chief risk officer at Mountain States.

The company will also use Accenture Duck Creek Templates and product configuration software application to help support rapid implementation and ongoing maintenance of ISO (Insurance Services Office) based commercial lines.

The templates and product configuration software application will also help in implementation of NCCI (National Council on Compensation Insurance) based workers’ compensation products.

Accenture launches connected vehicle integrated solution to help auto makers meet in-vehicle service demands

In January, Accenture unveiled an integrated solution for auto and truck manufacturers that will help them meet demand from consumers for in-vehicle technologies with capabilities such as wi-fi access, process mobile payments for parking, insurance and tolls and others.
