In a statement Accenture said that the selected companies will get a chance to participate in the FinTech Innovation Lab Asia-Pacific, a 12 week programme to be held at Hong Kong. The programme helps early-and-growth-stage financial technology innovators accelerate product development and gain exposure to top-level financial industry executive.
The last date to submit application is July 31. Selected companies will be informed by mid-
September.
Senior executives from Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Bank of China (Hong Kong), Barclays, China Construction Bank (Asia), DBS, HSBC, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Ping An and UBS will select the winning applicants and provide mentoring to entrepreneurs who attend the program in Hong Kong.
The panel will select seven startups to participate in the programme, which will begin at the end of September 2014. The programme culminates in December with an Investor Day presentation by participants, which will be attended by financial industry experts and potential investors.
