Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo has deployed Accenture Air Cargo Reservations software to optimize freight capacity over the entire network and improve booking efficiency.
The Accenture Freight & Logistics Software (AFLS) software assists Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo and partner networks to create a single view of booking options. The cargo airline utilizes the AFLS software for flight profiling activities, allocation management, entry conditions and restrictions to improve booking efficiency and revenue management execution.
“With Accenture’s software we further improve our capability to offer fast and complete solutions to our customers. We can book all options in our joint network in one system,” said Wijnand de Groot, vice president Customer Service, Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo.
The AFLS solution automates capacity checks, reduces manual intervention by revenue managers, and provides better insight into space availability to ensure that the air cargo reservations process is quicker and more efficient, said Accenture in a statement.
“One seamless system provides an overall view of the network and booking options, helps increase efficiency and revenue management execution, and ultimately raises customer satisfaction and profitability,” said Ganesh Vaideeswaran, managing director, Accenture Freight and Logistics Software.
Air France-KLM-Martinair Cargo carried 1.3 million tons of cargo in 2014. In addition to its global network of passenger aircraft, the group offers cargo maindeck capacity on 2 B777 Freighters, 4 B747-400 Freighters, 4 MD-11 Freighters and 15 B747-400 Combis.
