Accenture has bags $19.8 mn ERP deal from U.S. Navy

Accenture has bagged five task orders worth $19.8 million from the U.S. Department of the Navy to provide information technology support and training for the Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.

As part of the ERP deal, Accenture is helping support, maintain and improve the Navy ERP system, built on the SAP ERP application, for the Naval Supply Systems Command’s (NAVSUP) Business Systems Center (BSC) in Mechanicsburg, Pa.

Navy ERP manages more than 50 percent of the Navy’s total obligation authority, with more than 68,000 users worldwide.
