Software major HP said on Monday that Nikon is using HP Autonomy web content management software to offer customized content to photographers.

The digital camera vendor tapped HP to assist photographers who are visiting the Nikon Learn & Explore website for tips, said HP on Monday.

The website is improving brand loyalty and sales after Nikon started using HP TeamSite and HP LiveSite to deliver dynamic, targeted and interactive content to site visitors.

The deployment is powered by HP Autonomy and engineered by Kanban Solutions, a software development and content consultancy.

HP TeamSite and HP LiveSite enabled Nikon and Kanban Solutions to redesign and rebuild Learn & Explore’s technology platform and user interface. HP TeamSite allowed Nikon to create targeted webpage content and manage the individual workflows.

Nikon media assets are stored in HP Media Binand seamlessly integrated with the TeamSite workflow. Integration between BrightCove and TeamSite allows content authors to upload instructional videos directly to the site.
