Vestas shuts down IT systems after cyber attack

Wind turbine maker Vestas said it was impacted by cyber security incident on 19 November 2021.
Vestas faces cyber attackVestas has shut down its IT systems across multiple business units and locations to contain the issue.

“As part of our crisis management setup for cyber security, we are working together with our internal and external partners to contain the issue and recover our systems,” Vestas said in a media statement.

Vestas believes that its customers, employees and other stakeholders may be affected by the shutdown of several of ITsystems.
