Trend Micro today announced its security solutions deal with Randstad Group, a human resources and flexible work services company, to ensure security protection to its new infrastructure.
Trend Micro, which will become its cloud infrastructure security solution partner for the next five years, said Randstad Group will be using Deep Security-as-a-Service (SaaS). The financial details of the Cloud security deal was not disclosed.

The Randstad Group is consolidating and centralizing its IT infrastructure across 30 IT departments providing service to 40 operating companies in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and Asia-Pacific. This transformation will increase efficiencies and reduce risks.
The company will benefit from Trend Micro’s Deep Security server protection solutions which are host and consumption-based. There will be automated policy-based protection due to the integration of the controls in its design. Randstad will use SaaS model and will face the costs associated with the actual use of the platform.
Trend Micro has optimized Deep Security to integrate with a number of Microsoft and Linux server platforms ensuring protection from vulnerabilities. Deep Security supports DevOps processes and container technology integrating with Splunk and ServiceNow, which Randstad will also deploy.

We found in Trend Micro the perfect combination of an effective and scalable platform to fulfill Randstad’s security requirements,” said Bernardo Payet, general manager for Randstad Global IT Solutions.
