Symantec announced the worldwide availability of Encryption Everywhere, a website security package available through web hosting providers.
Encryption Everywhere lets web hosting providers integrate encryption into every website from the moment it is created.
With the new web security service, Symantec said, hosting providers can offer a variety of flexible options, including basic website encryption included as part of any hosted service. It also offers a number of premium security packages.
Symantec said it wants to see 100 percent of legitimate websites secured by 2018 and it will be demonstrating Encryption Everywhere during the World Hosting Days conference in Rust, Germany, March 15-18, 2016, booth Z03.
“The possibility to secure all of our 3.8 million domains with Symantec’s Encryption Everywhere helps ensure that all our customers are protected and secure,” said Marco Hoffmann, head of Domain Services and Product Management of InterNetX.
Encryption Everywhere is available immediately wherever Symantec SSL/TLS and security certificates are sold.
