Quickheal revenue for Q2 FY 17 grew by 25.4%

quickhealQuickheal announced that its revenue for Q2 FY 17 grew by 25.4 percent on YoY basis to Rs. 1064.3 million.

For H1 FY17, the revenue grew by 16 percent to reach Rs. 1539.44 million.

Retail segment accounted for majority (87.3 percent) of the revenue. Enterprise & Government acquired 10.9 percent, while Mobile segment contributed 1.9 percent of the total revenues in Q2 FY17.

Number of licenses sold during Q2 FY17 was 2,183 k. Licenses sold to Retail, Enterprise & Government and Mobile segments were 1,921 k, 221 k and 41 k respectively in Q2 FY17.

Kailash Katkar, MD and CEO, Quick Heal Technologies, said;“Our Retail segment bounced back during this quarter as we effectively leveraged the dealer channel network to boost sales to the next level. We also focused on cost optimization which helped us to increase our profit after tax.”

“Our Enterprise & Government and Mobile segments have also showed promising growth both in terms of revenue and new sales,” Katkar added. “We are hopeful of maintaining strong growth momentum and sustaining our leadership position across segments and markets.”

In August 2016, Quick Heal’s enterprise security solution Seqrite Endpoint Security (EPS) has achieved 100 percent detection results from AV-Test.
