Quick Heal enhances security software revenue in Q1

Quick Heal Technologies, a IT security software products and solutions provider, said its revenues grew 26 percent to Rs 1,314.4 million in Q4 fiscal 2016 and 18 percent to Rs 3,380.7 million in FY 2016.

Net profit of Quick Heal Technologies grew 64 percent to Rs 378.2 million in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2016 and 9 percent to Rs 584 million in fiscal 2016.

Quick Heal Technologies generated 85.1 percent (+16 percent revenue from Retail, 13.3 percent (+21 percent) from Enterprise & Government and 1.6 percent (+397 percent) from mobile segments in FY 2016.

The number of security software licenses sold grew 22 percent to 6.86 million in FY16. Quick Heal Technologies sold 5.76 million (+18 percent) licenses to Retail, 0.92 million (34 percent) to Enterprise & Government and 0.18 million (+225 percent) to mobile segments.

“We have achieved faster growth in the Enterprise & Government segment and also had a good start in the mobile products segment. We are focussed on our R&D efforts and will continue to develop new products and introduce enhanced features,” said Kailash Katkar, chief executive officer of Quick Heal Technologies.

Quick Heal has over 1,300 employees and a network of over 20,000 channel partners as on 31 March 2016. It conducts sales and marketing activities out of 64 offices and warehouses across 36 cities in India and, through its subsidiaries that are present in Japan, Dubai, the United States of America, and Kenya.
