Palo Alto Networks aims 25% increase in revenue to $6.9 bn

Palo Alto Networks, the global cybersecurity leader, announced financial results for its fiscal fourth quarter and fiscal year 2022, ended July 31, 2022.
Palo Alto Networks cyber security solutionsRevenue for the fiscal fourth quarter 2022 grew 27 percent to $1.6 billion, compared with revenue of $1.2 billion for the fiscal fourth quarter 2021. Net income for the fiscal fourth quarter 2022 was $3.3 million compared with net loss of $119.3 million for the fiscal fourth quarter 2021.

“We were pleased by our fourth quarter results, which included GAAP profitability for the first time in four years. Next-Generation Security growth, driven by our rapid pace of innovation and strong sales execution, drove our results,” said Nikesh Arora, chairman and CEO of Palo Alto Networks.

Palo Alto Networks expects billings of $1.68-$1.70 billion, representing growth of between 22-23 percent and revenue of $1.535-$1.555 billion, representing growth of 23-25 percent for the fiscal first quarter 2023.

Palo Alto Networks expects billings of $8.95-$9.05 billion, representing growth of 20-21 percent and revenue of $6.85-$6.90 billion, representing growth of 25 percent for the fiscal year 2023.
