NEC Corporation has introduced advanced security solutions at INTERPOL World 2015 being held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre in Singapore from April 14 to 16, 2015.
On 13th April INTERPOL Global Complex for Innovation (IGCI), a research and development facility for the identification of crimes and suspects, innovative training, operational support and partnerships, was officially opened.
NEC has implemented cyber security solutions for newly opened INTERPOL Digital Crime Center which is established within IGCI.
The company said it is also demonstrating its latest public safety solutions, including a biometric identification technology which is already adopted by more than 500 customers in 40 countries and an intelligent video surveillance system.
“NEC boasts a range of leading technologies and solutions, including world-class biometrics such as fingerprint, face recognition and DNA analysis, as well as cybersecurity, big data and image recognition technologies as part of enhancing the safety and security of social infrastructure and the ongoing development of society,” said Nobuhiro Endo, president, NEC Corporation.
Few days ago, NEC Corporation of America (NEC) launched cloud contact center solution with features rich NEC’s UNIVERSE Cloud Services Contact Center.
In April first week, NEC launched NEC ExpressCluster Replicator Essential for Windows solution on Amazon Web Services (AWS) marketplace.
NEC India has deployed face recognition technology for Surat City Police (Gujarat) in February 2015, which includes NeoFace Watch for Live CCTV surveillance and NeoFace Reveal for forensic criminal investigation.
In November 2014, NEC signed a MOU with the Texas State University to conduct collaborative research and development to improve social infrastructure operation and management, such as water conversation and resource management.
