Nasscom (The National Association of Software and Services Companies) announced its new cyber security lab in Noida, Delhi-NCR.
The new facility will be based in the Nasscom Headquarters.
Recently, IT market research agency IDC said global market for cyber security solutions will grow to $870 million by 2017.
Nasscom president Som Mittal said that to build India as a key secure sourcing destination the facility will actively promote data protection and develop security and privacy codes and standards.
The industry association also plans to setup its warehouse facility in Noida as part of the 10,000 start-ups initiative to scale up the start-up ecosystem in India.
The Startup Warehouse, according to Nasscom, will create a micro-ecosystem where start-ups and entrepreneurs can work together, share their learning’s and best practices with each other.
Nasscom also plans other such facilities across key cities in the country, to provide world class infrastructure to tech start-ups at a highly affordable cost.
