McAfee has priced McAfee LiveSafe service at $19.99 for a 12-month subscription when purchased with a new PC or tablet.

The price will be $79.99 for a 12-month subscription for consumers with existing PCs and tablets.

McAfee LiveSafe software also comes pre-installed on Ultrabook devices and PCs from top hardware manufacturers.

Introduced in May, McAfee LiveSafe protect consumers’ data, identity and all the PCs, Macs, smartphones and tablets a user owns at a low price.

McAfee LiveSafe includes the Personal Locker feature that uses face and voice authentication technology to retrieve a user’s most sensitive personal information and sensitive documents, such as copies of passports and IDs, from a secure online location.

McAfee LiveSafe service also offers simplified and automated management of usernames and passwords; hardware-enabled anti-theft capabilities for Ultrabooks; privacy protection for smartphone and tablets; and several additional security capabilities.

“With the current state and pace that consumers are interacting online they need a convenient and easy-to-use security product to help them effortlessly protect their entire digital life,” said Gary Davis, vice president of global consumer marketing at McAfee.
