Kaspersky brings new threat management and defense solution

Kaspersky Lab for security
Cyber-security company Kaspersky Lab announced Kaspersky Threat Management and Defense solution to protect enterprises from complex attacks.

Kaspersky Threat Management and Defense provides businesses the visibility and threat hunting capabilities to reduce overall response times of their corporate networks.

The latest cyber-security solution from the Russian technology company is a combination of Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack, Kaspersky Cybersecurity Services and the company’s latest Kaspersky EDR offering.

Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack solution ensures accuracy in detection via next generation technologies and capabilities, including machine learning threat analysis and correlation algorithms, advanced sandbox technology and network traffic analysis.

It is also empowered by the array of metadata available for analysis from the telemetry of endpoint and network sensors, as well as by global threat intelligence from Kaspersky Security Network.

The new version of Kaspersky Anti Targeted Attack offers a redesigned dashboard showing a detailed overview of the status of periodic checks, the latest network and endpoint events, and incident information to shape the educated action during the incident response (IR) cycle to security teams.

The impact of targeted cyber-attack can cost enterprises $456K if the threat is detected immediately, or $1.2 million on average if it remains hidden for more than a week.

Kaspersky EDR enables businesses to speed up their IR and improve the quality of the cyber-security incident investigation process. Kaspersky EDR offers increased visibility through the aggregation and visualization of key digital forensics data collected from sensors.

An efficient and timely response is ensured through the automation and remote deployment of the key IR functions, which eliminates the manual work and guarantees an ability to clean up the infected assets remotely, within a required timeframe.

In addition, Kaspersky EDR ensures cybersecurity teams get complete insight into endpoint activity to understand exactly what is happening within their network and how threats can be mitigated.

Rob Cataldo, VP of enterprise sales at Kaspersky Lab North America, said: “Businesses need to make early detection their number one priority and an integrated approach is essential for enterprises to survive in today’s complex threat landscape.”
